Mrs. Malaprop Comments on Currant Events!

Perhaps, Mrs. Malaprop, alias Legion of Christ Benefactress, should begin commenting on currant events that happen around us in the world we are living in
Beginning with the Republican Conventional in Tampon, Florida,
where fat pundits and governors are unleashing their venomosity while clapping their hands together -a favorite American pastime- with all the delicates who have flocked to the land of the flamingos in search of political irrelevance as the media  -Spanish "las medias"- seeks to stir up another storm in a Tea Cup Party just like Isaac New Ton currantly lashes New Orleans the land of jazz and pizzazz with a little bit of French thrown in for good measure on this beautiful summer-end Wash DC day

Mrs. Malaprop, alias Bene, Just visited the Sacre Blue Coeur Church in Paris

what a wonderful experience to trek to the top of the hill from my third rate hotel in the Mount Martyrs area of Gay Paris through the clobbered streets, the little shops, the bread shops and the pastry shoppes i think they call them "bowl-on-jerrys" and "pastiches" and the quaint little squares that are not always square and which the French people just call places as if there was nothing special about them and there is because they are so nice where you can sit down at the open air cafe and order your Cafe con Leche with a big baguette and some really smelly cheeze and maybe even a glass of wine if you are not a member of the abstinence guild. Finally after going through several places and turning many corners I came upon the explanade and right there in front of my eyes rearing its spires into the blue sky was the Sacre Coeur like a white apparatus climbing up a staircase into the air something like SnowWhite's Palace without the ugly queen I thought I had died and gone to heaven and it features Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, day and night -reminds me of that old song by Francesco Sinatra!

(some of you might objectify to this painting which I copied to illustrate the woman of ill repute who dared to sully Fr. Maciel's virility "For a Fistful of Dollars"

BENE HERE AGAIN

after a long hiatsu -I want to be culturally sensitive to the Oriental people-
and forgive me for misspeling the Cardinal's name
but I was told by a Galician friend -remember St. Paul's First Letter to the Galicians which my Jesuit friend explained to me is one of St.Paul's greatest as it speaks about the gifts of the Spirit
the gifts that Holy Father Marshall Maciel was so gifted with and which he shared with his disciples as they reclined against his bosom like St. John during the Last Supper-
Fr. Maciel has been much vituperated by shallow people who keep focusing on a few peccadillos -Spanish version- and can't see the straw in their own eyes forgetting the special gifts that Fr. Maciel bequeathed to his followers of which I am proud to be one although I have had my doubts ever since I learned that he had some dalliances with unfaithful women who wanted to sully his virility for a Fistful of Dollars
Getting back to my Galician friend who explained to me that Venancio is the native equivalent for Valasio and they have given him this name because of the (in)competent and scurrilous way he is handling the reform of the Legion to bring it to the fulness of its fruits good bad and indifferent
